TRAPIL

TRAPIL was established in 1950 and is the oldest and largest refined products pipeline operator in Europe. Operations include Le Havre/Paris pipeline system and many other civil and military networks throughout France. It represents some 4800 km of pipeline and 160 pumping and delivery stations. There are also more than 850 000 cubic meters of storage tanks.

To monitor and maintain the integrity of this pipeline network, TRAPIL has developed a range of instrumented pigs and other specific products. This combination of operational experience and instrumented pig applications enables TRAPIL to provide solutions to many pipeline inspections and leak detection/location problems.

The services provided include acoustic measurement for leak detection and ultrasonic pigging for metal loss features, corrosion and geometric anomalies detection.
