PNS - Pipeline Nitrogen Services bv was founded in 2006 in Emmen. The Netherlands headquarters supports offices in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Libya, Croatia and China in engineering and operations. PNS employs about 50 people worldwide as staff personnel. The company specialises in pipeline cleaning by means of mechanical pigging utilising specially designed pigs, or chemical cleaning using the latest reactive chemistry. These services are used for pipeline de-contamination and commissioning projects including pipeline drying, gauging and inspection.
