Challenger Special Oil Services/Entrepose Contracting

Founded in 1982 and located in Paris, Challenger Special Oil Services, a subsidiary of Entrepose Contracting provides a wide range of pipeline services to the oil and gas industries. To achieve optimum efficiency of pipelines, Challenger has developed its savoir-faire in leak detection (strength and leak tests, hydrostatic testing), intelligent pigging (calibration, thickness measurement, corrosion survey), pipeline dewatering and drying (vacuum, dry air, methanol), pipeline rehabilitation and pipe works (deviations, hot-tapping, repairs, relining of pipelines).

Challenger has developed a new and very successful pigging activity called "hard descaling" for petroleum companies.

Conducting studies for cathodic protection and for installation, general maintenance and engineering studies, Challenger provides operation surveys and maintenance consulting and is active in the research and development of new products and processes.
