Applus RTD

One of Applus RTD divisions specializes in the design, construction and use of cable operated ultrasonic inspection tools for inspection of "unpiggable" pipelines, municipal heating grids, offshore platform risers, vertical casings to underground storage facilities and SCR's in deep water. These tools can be made to comply with specific conditions and customer requirements and solutions exist for inspection of liquid filled pipelines but also empty or gas-filled casings can be inspected with these tools.

Tools exist for pipe diameters of 6" to 60" with lengths up to 17 km and full circumferential coverage can be provided using a novel transducer lay-out.

Additionally, "Fitness for Purpose" studies can be provided by Applus RTD's Integrity Management Services group.
