RPC-Tec traces its roots to 1952, when Alberto J. Reinhart developed Reinhart Cleaning Technology (RCT) to solve challenging pipeline cleaning needs in Switzerland. The company’s foundation was then strengthened by the next second generation of the Reinhart family, and today RPC-Tec is the third generation of this Swiss engineering story: Robert, Roland and Maximilian Reinhart.

Our history is grounded in hands-on engineering and continuous improvement. The first hydromechanical cleaning project was completed in Switzerland in 1952, followed by early work in industrial pipelines in Italy in 1953 and gas pipelines in Germany in 1954. Over the decades, the technology evolved from manual, sketch-based development to advanced in-house design and manufacturing, while the company expanded its services to meet increasingly complex operational requirements.
