PIGGING PRODUCTS & SERVICES ASSOCIATION &
CTDUT PIPELINE TECHNOLOGY CENTER
The event will provide an overview of the pigging process, including cleaning pigs, detection of illegal tapping of pipelines, UT inspection case study and the advantages of combining technologies. The event will include the launching and receiving of a 12 inch pig along a 300m section of the pipeloop.
There will also be the chance to visit the table top exhibition and talk to pigging experts and find out about opportunities in the industry.
IMPORTANT NOTE: ATTENDEES MUST WEAR FLAT, CLOSED TOE SHOES.
(Hard hats will be provided.)
Light refreshments will be available.
The event is organised for members of Young Pipeline Professionals (YPP) and university students. Other people interested in finding out about pigging are also welcome to attend.
Places are limited to 40 people.
As places are limited, only 2 people per company can be booked initially. If more than 2 people per company register to attend, the additional names will be added to a waiting list. Places for people on the waiting list will be allocated on Friday 4th August subject to availability.
Note: Transport can be booked when registering to take you from EXO MAG (the Rio Pipeline venue) to CTDUT Pipeline technology Centre.
