What are PEP Talks?

PEP Talks is a Presentation Skills Coaching Course for Young Pipeliners to develop and practise presentation skills at the PPSA Seminar on 18th November 2025 in Aberdeen (the day before the main Seminar presentations).

Being able to give a presentation to a large group is an important skill to have but it can be a daunting experience for many people. This programme helps young people gain experience by giving them two online coaching sessions with Presentations Skills Coach (Thor Holt), followed by the opportunity to present to a small and friendly audience (<20 people) in a face to face setting.

Who should apply

We’d love to hear from you if you are a young engineer or are studying an engineering related course or are working in the pigging industry and you would like to improve your Presentation Skills. Applicants should be 35 years old or under and have never given a presentation at a Conference before.

Where and when

Following the two online coaching sessions (the times to be agreed between each candidate and the coach) you will give your final presentation on 18th November 2025 (in the afternoon) at the Ardoe House Hotel, Aberdeen, UK.
